A Light in the HallThe young girl saw the flash light in the hall. She slid out of her hot, sticky sheets and went into the hall to investigate. Her father turned around and shined the light on her. “Come on. I’m going outside,” he grunted. She followed him to the door as he blinked the flashlight on and off by his feet as to not disturb anyone else in the house, seeing as the doors were all flung open in hope of a cross breeze. They crept out of the front door and sat on the giant ice chest they had brought fishing so many times. Now it held as much water as a normal bathtub would foA Light in the Hall
